Poor Robotaxis… A group of anti-autonomous vehicle activists in San Francisco has been placing traffic cones on the hoods of Cruise and Waymo robotaxis to halt their progress. The vehicles go into shutdown mode and activate hazard lights until the cones are removed or the system is reset by company technicians. The activist group, Safe Street Rebel, organized the "Week of Cone" protest ahead of a meeting to potentially expand robotaxi services.

The robotic system, called Robotic Shuttle Put Wall System, will automate and accelerate warehouse operations, sorting orders faster and improving inventory picking efficiency.
