Apple enters the AI chatbot race Joining Google, OpenAI, Microsoft and Meta Apple is launching their own version to internal staff for research and testing. The project is codenamed Ajax, and is utilised internally to help Apple prototype products - rumours are that an announcement will be made later this year.

Secondly,

AI is helping bringing stars back to life! BBC Future explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is creating digital clones of deceased celebrities like James Dean, sparking ethical debates about post-mortem rights and the potential impact on the film industry.

& Thirdly,

ChatGPT behaviour seems to be changing Researchers from Stanford University and University of California-Berkeley found that OpenAI's ChatGPT large language models (LLMs) exhibited changes in performance and behavior between March and June 2023. Some tasks deteriorated substantially over time, raising concerns about "LLM drift" and the need for transparency and continuous monitoring of LLMs - maybe just having a down day.
